Job Description
We are seeking a Lube / Grease Service Technician to become a part of our team! This job is based out of Kerman, CA. Individual is to perform lube, grease and service on tractors, scrapers and other heavy equipment. Requires ability to work independently in performing minor repairs and maintenance. Individual will be required to work early morning shifts and / or after hours shift to service equipment. Individual should have some diagnostic and repair skills.
Description in detail:
- Perform lube / service on heavy equipment as well as inspections and light repairs in the field
- Drive a company truck to various locations to lube / service equipment
- Work independently with little supervision
- May need to work early morning shifts and / or after hours shifts if busy periods requires prior to equipment operating.
Educational / Experience
Requirements - Qualified candidates must:- High School Diploma
- Preferred Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License with hazmat endorsement with a clean 3 year driving record
- Ability to pass random drug screening
- Ability to read and write English
- Preferred experience with MIG and / or stick welding
- Have 3+ yrs. experience with lube / service diesel engines, hydraulics, and diagnostics of heavy equipment.
- Have a history of troubleshooting & technical experience.
- Maintain daily service reports, equipment status reports.
- Be able to communicate professionally and in a service-oriented manner, verbally and written.
- Successful candidate will be dispatched for lube / service to on-site equipment as needed.
- Valid driver's license, clean DMV and background check are required for this position.
- Must have ability to complete written service reports and report time worked.
