Lube Service & Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a Lube Service & Maintenance Technician to become a part of our team! This job is based out of Kerman, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, lubrication, inspections, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on tractors, scrapers, and other heavy equipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, mechanically skilled, and comfortable working independently in a field environment. Responsibilities Perform lubrication, greasing, preventive maintenance, and inspections on heavy equipment. Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and mechanical issues. Perform minor repairs and field service as needed. Operate a company service truck and travel to various job sites. Complete daily service and equipment reports and accurately document hours worked. Respond to equipment service needs and dispatches. Maintain a safe, professional, and organized work environment. Work early morning, after-hours, or occasional weekend shifts when required. Qualifications Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement and a clean 3-year driving record. 3+ years of experience servicing diesel engines, hydraulics, and heavy equipment. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Ability to read and write English and complete service documentation. Valid driver's license with acceptable DMV and background check. Ability to pass random drug screening. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. MIG and/or stick welding experience preferred.
