Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and performance standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques to execute repairs efficiently. Work with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology for calibration and troubleshooting to meet modern vehicle requirements. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to perform precise repairs on GM vehicles or other makes. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and recommending maintenance plans for vehicle longevity. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair industry standards. Expertise in ADAS calibration, diesel engine repair, transmission repair, and automotive electrical systems. Mechanical knowledge of automotive suspension systems, powertrain components, and heavy equipment mechanics. Skilled in using diagnostic tools for automotive diagnostics and auto estimating software. Familiarity with oil change procedures, wheel alignment techniques, brake repair, shocks & struts replacement, and tire service. Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately; experience working with mechanical systems repair is essential.
