This role is responsible for inspecting our golf carts and Low-Speed Vehicles for scratches, chips, scuffs, paint defects, and other cosmetic imperfections, and then completing the necessary touch-up or refinishing work before the vehicles leave our facility. We are looking for someone with a strong eye for detail who can both identify cosmetic issues and repair them professionally . Experience with automotive paint, body work, reconditioning, or similar work is preferred. Experience with full-panel or full-body repainting and color matching is a major plus, but not required. Responsibilities Inspect golf cart bodies for scratches, chips, scuffs, blemishes, paint defects, and other cosmetic issues Perform cosmetic quality-control inspections before vehicles are released or shipped Identify areas that require touch-up or refinishing, even if the defect has not already been reported Repair scratches, chips, scuffs, and other cosmetic paint damage Prepare surfaces through sanding, cleaning, masking, and other necessary prep work Perform touch-up painting, spot repairs, blending, and refinishing Buff and polish repaired or imperfect areas to achieve a clean finish Match VERDI factory paint colors as closely as possible Spray and refinish larger body panels when needed Assist with full-body color changes when needed and if experience allows Re-inspect completed work to ensure the finish meets VERDI quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Work closely with the production and QC teams to ensure vehicles are ready for delivery Qualifications Previous automotive painting, body shop, collision repair, dealership reconditioning, or similar experience preferred Experience with paint prep, touch-up, spraying, blending, buffing, or polishing Strong attention to detail and ability to notice small cosmetic imperfections Experience with automotive color matching is preferred Experience working with plastic, fiberglass, composite, motorcycle, powersports, or similar body panels is a plus Comfortable using sanding, polishing, buffing, spray, and paint-preparation equipment Ability to work independently and complete repairs efficiently Reliable and able to work well with a production team Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is especially helpful: Automotive body or collision shops Dealership reconditioning Automotive paint and touch-up Mobile paint or bumper repair Motorcycle or powersports painting Custom automotive paint Automotive detailing and paint correction Experience repainting full panels or complete vehicle bodies is highly desirable, but not required.

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
