Monday-Friday, No Weekends About the Role Diehl Auto Repair's Westmont location is hiring a C-Level Automotive Technician to join our team. This is a great entry point for a technician looking to build hands-on experience, work alongside experienced mentors, and grow toward B-Level and A-Level status within our 6-location shop group. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks/top-offs, and filter replacements Conduct multi-point inspections and basic diagnostic checks Assist senior technicians with more complex repairs to build skills and experience Complete repair orders accurately and legibly, documenting parts used and time spent Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding vehicle status and completion timelines Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation in compliance with shop and OSHA standards Participate in ongoing manufacturer and in-house training Requirements 3 years minimum shop experience and/or completion of a trade school/vocational automotive program Basic understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures Willingness to pursue ASE certification (not required to start) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Own a basic set of personal hand tools (specialty tools provided by the shop) Strong work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to learn
