Lincoln Journeyman Automotive Technician Ogden Lincoln of Westmont - Westmont, IL Ogden Lincoln of Westmont is looking for an experienced Journeyman Automotive Technician to join our Service Department. We are seeking a skilled, dependable technician who takes pride in their work and is comfortable diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining today's vehicles. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair vehicle mechanical and electrical concerns Perform maintenance and repairs according to manufacturer specifications Complete engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, electrical, and other automotive repairs Perform accurate and efficient vehicle inspections Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle concerns Clearly document diagnosis, repairs performed, and recommended repairs Complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards Follow dealership and manufacturer safety procedures Work closely with Service Advisors and other members of the Service Department Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications Previous professional automotive technician experience required Journeyman-level diagnostic and repair skills Ford or Lincoln dealership experience preferred Ford/Lincoln certifications are a plus Strong electrical and diagnostic abilities Ability to perform repairs independently Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Must have your own basic automotive tools Dependable, professional, and able to work as part of a team What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and certifications Full-time position Steady work in an established dealership Professional dealership environment Opportunities for continued training and advancement Benefits available to eligible employees We are looking for an experienced technician who wants a long-term opportunity with a busy dealership and a strong service team.
