• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
• Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently.
• Work with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and auto electrical systems to troubleshoot modern vehicle features.
• Follow dealership or industry standards for auto body repairs, auto estimating, and heavy equipment mechanics when applicable.
• Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers about repairs needed and completed work. Requirements
• Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems repair.
• Dealership experience is highly preferred; familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus.
• Knowledge of diesel engine repair, automotive suspension system repair, transmission repair, and ADAS technology.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for complex mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills.
• Certification or experience in brake repair, oil change services, tire service, shocks & struts replacement is desirable.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
