Fleet Technician Junior/Senior Closing Date Continuous Salary See Position Description Location Medina, MN Job Type Full-time Job Number 26PWA122FM200 Description Hennepin County's Public Works department is hiring a Fleet Technician to join the Fleet Services division. This position will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and performing diagnostics on a variety of equipment. This includes hybrid, electric, and gas cars and pickups, emergency vehicles and medium and heavy-duty gas or diesel trucks as well as construction equipment including loaders, graders and skid steers, trailers, small engines, and powersport equipment. This position is open to different levels of experience/qualifications and could be hired into the Fleet Technician, Junior or Fleet Technician, Senior level depending on the candidate's education and/or experience. Salary based upon qualifications:

Fleet Technician, Junior salary: $67,491.84 - $84,202.03 Annually Fleet Technician, Senior salary: $75,905.82 - $92,832.74 Annually Location and hours: This position is located at the Public Works Facility, 1600 Prairie Drive, Medina, Minnesota 55340. There is no public transportation to this facility. These are second shift positions, with work hours being 2 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday. This position requires candidates to be available for on call duty after hours, weekends, and holidays. Anyone indicating limited availability will not be considered. New Employee Orientation (NEO) for all new benefit-earning employees is in-person in downtown Minneapolis. Details about NEO will be provided upon hire.
