Job Summary Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Service Advisor, where your enthusiasm and mechanical knowledge will drive exceptional customer experiences. In this vital role, you will serve as the key liaison between our valued clients and our skilled technicians, ensuring vehicle repairs and maintenance are communicated clearly, accurately estimated, and completed efficiently. Your energetic approach will help build trust and loyalty while guiding customers through a wide range of automotive services, from routine oil changes to agriculture tires. Duties Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Explain repair procedures, estimate costs using estimating software, and recommend additional services such as tire service, brake repair, suspension, or transmission work Upsell appropriate maintenance services by highlighting benefits like vehicle longevity and safety enhancements Write detailed service orders and communicate repair details clearly to technicians using service writing tools Coordinate with mechanics to provide accurate estimates for automotive diagnostics, collision repair, or mechanical repairs involving shocks & struts, air brakes, or other systems Manage customer communication throughout the repair process, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professional client interactions at all times Requirements Proven experience as an automotive service advisor or in auto service management within a dealership or independent shop setting Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance procedures, and repair processes Experience with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating systems Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Knowledge of auto estimating techniques for services such as oil changes, tire service, shocks & struts, brake repair, transmissions, suspension systems, and air brake systems Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and customer trust Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driving experience preferred Basic cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering top-tier automotive care. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
