Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing a positive rapport to understand their automotive needs. Communicate effectively with clients regarding vehicle issues, recommended repairs, and service options. Prepare detailed service write-ups and estimates using estimating software to accurately assess repair costs and timeframes. Manage the entire auto service process from initial assessment through completion, ensuring timely updates to clients. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure quality standards are met. Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions for future reference. Upsell additional services or maintenance based on vehicle needs while maintaining transparency with customers. Stay informed about the latest automotive technologies, repair procedures, and estimating tools to provide expert guidance. Requirements Proven experience in automotive service advising or a related customer service role within the automotive industry. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers. Proficiency in service writing and auto estimating software is essential. Knowledge of auto repair processes, parts, and maintenance procedures. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously. A professional attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
