More Than a Driving Job Revolution Gunite is looking for a dependable, motivated CDL B Driver to operate one of our specialized volumetric concrete trucks. For more than 20 years, Revolution Gunite has built a reputation as a leader in the shotcrete industry. Our crews perform demanding specialty concrete work throughout the region, and our volumetric concrete trucks are a critical part of that operation. This isn't a job where you simply drive from Point A to Point B. Our volumetric trucks are essentially mobile concrete batch plants , allowing us to produce fresh concrete on the jobsite. You'll learn to operate specialized equipment, batch and adjust concrete, work alongside experienced shotcrete crews, and become an important part of our concrete production operation. Experience with volumetric concrete trucks is a plus, but it is not required. If you're a good CDL driver with mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn, we will train you. We're continuing to invest in our people, equipment, and concrete production capabilities, and we're looking for someone who wants a stable position, strong earning potential, and the opportunity to develop skills well beyond simply driving a truck. What You'll Do Safely operate a CDL Class B volumetric concrete truck Transport cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures to project sites Operate the truck's batching and mixing system to produce concrete on site Learn proper concrete batching, consistency, and quality-control procedures Work closely with our shotcrete crews to keep concrete production running efficiently Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Inspect and monitor belts, augers, PTO systems, hydraulics, water systems, and other truck components Perform routine cleaning and basic operator maintenance Keep your truck, mixer, and work areas clean and professional Communicate with field supervisors, mechanics, and project personnel Follow DOT requirements and company safety procedures Help identify and troubleshoot minor equipment or operational issues

What We're Looking For Required:

Valid CDL Class B or Class A driver's license Acceptable driving record Ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle Dependable attendance and punctuality Strong attention to equipment and safety Willingness to learn concrete batching and volumetric truck operation Ability to work outdoors and perform the physical requirements of the position Preferred, but not required: Volumetric concrete truck experience Ready-mix concrete experience Mixer truck experience Dump truck or other heavy commercial vehicle experience Mechanical or heavy-equipment aptitude Experience around construction equipment or concrete operations Don't have concrete experience? That's okay. We'd rather train a dependable professional driver with the right attitude and mechanical aptitude than pass over a great candidate simply because they haven't operated a volumetric mixer before.
