Automotive Service Advisor CarHeroes Ford of Lenoir - Lenoir, NC Full-Time | $70,000-$120,000+ Earning Potential Join the CarHeroes Ford of Lenoir Team CarHeroes Ford of Lenoir is looking for an experienced, motivated Automotive Service Advisor who knows how to take care of customers, sell needed maintenance and repairs, and keep a busy service department moving. We're looking for a high-performing Service Advisor , not simply an order taker. If you are competitive, organized, customer-focused, and know how to turn a thorough vehicle inspection into an exceptional customer experience and properly authorized repair work, we want to talk to you. What You'll Do Greet customers and provide an exceptional service experience from write-up through vehicle delivery. Accurately identify and document each customer's concerns. Perform professional service walk-arounds with customers. Review vehicle history, maintenance needs, recalls, and recommended services. Work closely with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and efficient workflow. Present Multi-Point Inspection (MPI) results and technician recommendations to customers. Clearly explain recommended repairs and maintenance in a way customers can understand. Proactively communicate with customers throughout the repair process. Obtain repair authorizations quickly to minimize technician downtime. Build complete repair orders by identifying legitimate maintenance and repair opportunities. Maximize Customer Pay (CP) labor and parts sales while always putting the customer's needs first. Maintain strong Effective Labor Rate (ELR) and gross profit performance. Schedule customers' next service appointments before vehicle delivery. Follow up on declined services and previously recommended repairs. Maintain accurate customer cell phone numbers, email addresses, and vehicle information. Keep customers informed of repair status, pricing, completion times, and changes. Work with warranty, parts, technicians, dispatch, and management to deliver vehicles on time. Maintain high customer satisfaction and Ford performance standards. We're Looking for Someone Who Has automotive Service Advisor experience; franchised dealership experience is strongly preferred . Understands how to sell maintenance and legitimate repair recommendations. Is comfortable discussing repair recommendations and asking customers for authorization. Understands MPI, ELR, hours per RO, Customer Pay sales, gross profit, CSI, and declined-service follow-up . Can handle a high volume of repair orders without sacrificing customer communication. Is comfortable communicating by phone, text, email, and in person. Has strong organizational and time-management skills. Works well with technicians and understands that technician productivity depends on fast, accurate communication. Takes ownership of problems instead of passing them to someone else. Is competitive and motivated by performance-based compensation. Has a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Compensation Target Earning Potential:
$70,000-$120,000+ annually Compensation includes a guaranteed/base component plus performance-based compensation. Top performers have the opportunity to earn $120,000+ annually.
