Automotive Mechanic Juniata, NE | $20 $24/Hour | Great Benefits if Hired On Put your mechanical skills to work in a hands-on role where no two days are exactly the same! We re hiring an experienced Automotive Mechanic in Juniata to diagnose, maintain and repair a variety of motorized vehicles and equipment. If you know your way around engines, transmissions, diagnostic equipment and vehicle repairs, we want to hear from you. Pay & Schedule $20.00 $24.00/hour, depending on experience Monday Friday, 7: 30 AM 5: 00 PM Some earlier mornings or later evenings may be required Some Saturdays, 7: 30 AM 12: 00 PM, when needed What You'll Do As an Automotive Mechanic, you'll perform vehicle and equipment repairs, diagnostics, inspections and preventative maintenance. You'll work on a variety of motorized vehicles and equipment while helping keep them safe, reliable and ready to operate.

Responsibilities include:

Diagnose mechanical and performance issues Perform extensive vehicle and equipment maintenance and repairs Inspect engines, transmissions and other mechanical systems Run diagnostic tests to identify functionality issues Complete vehicle and equipment inspections Perform preventative maintenance Complete tire services and other general maintenance Maintain and track company tools and equipment Prepare and maintain required records and reports Assist with monthly and year-end inventories Follow established safety procedures and operating requirements What We're Looking For Previous automotive, vehicle or equipment repair experience Solid understanding of the methods, materials, tools and techniques used in vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance High school diploma, GED or related experience/training Valid driver's license required Ability to successfully complete the Safety Operations Equipment Checklist Dependable and able to work additional hours when required Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Physical Requirements Candidates must be able to: Stand and walk for prolonged periods Work in all weather conditions Lift, push and/or pull up to 100 pounds at times Work around moving parts, fumes, airborne particles and chemicals Occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Have the strength, balance and stamina necessary to complete physically demanding tasks Great Benefits if Hired On Permanent employees have access to a generous benefits package that includes: Health, dental and vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Paid holidays 401(k) Lifetime retirement benefit Short- and long-term disability Employee Assistance Program And more!
