Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers by performing mechanical repairs efficiently and accurately. Duties Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues quickly and accurately. Perform repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards. Repair and replace complex components like diesel engines, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and other heavy equipment systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to complete repairs efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with all automotive services performed. Experience Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership or independent shop settings. Demonstrated expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems repair, transmission repair, and vehicle maintenance. Familiarity with ADAS calibration, diesel engine repair, heavy equipment mechanics, and automotive electrical systems is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not required. Knowledge of auto estimating processes and experience working with various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized diagnostic software. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues swiftly and accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards for every repair performed.
