Automotive Technician Mazda Direct | Fostoria, Ohio Mazda Direct is looking for a dependable Automotive Technician to join our service team. We are looking for someone with solid mechanical ability, attention to detail, and a willingness to follow established dealership processes and procedures. Responsibilities Brake service and repair Tire mounting, balancing, rotation, and replacement Suspension and steering repairs Preventive maintenance and fluid services Basic diagnosis and troubleshooting Used vehicle inspections and reconditioning Light powertrain repairs including differentials, transfer cases, and CV axles Accurately identify and document needed repairs Complete repairs correctly and efficiently Maintain a clean and safe work area Inspection and Documentation Standards Technicians are required to follow Mazda Direct inspection and repair procedures. All applicable inspection and repair documentation must use the Concern, Cause, Correction format.

Concern:

Clearly identify the issue or condition found.

Cause:

Document what caused the concern.

Correction:

Document the repair or action taken to correct it. Inspection reports must be complete, accurate, and easy for the service team and customer to understand. Requirements Previous automotive repair experience Must provide your own automotive hand tools and power tools Diagnostic equipment and specialty diagnostic tools are provided by Mazda Direct Valid driver license with a clean driving record and no recent infractions within the past 3 to 5 years Ability to follow dealership processes and procedures Dependable, punctual, and detail oriented Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to participate in training and continue developing technical skills Pay and Training Pay based on experience and skill level $250 sign on bonus after the first 90 days Additional $250 bonus after another 90 days, contingent upon performance Paid training provided Benefits This position currently does not include an employee benefits package.
