As a Service Advisor/Writer, you'll manage service appointments, communicate repair needs clearly, and upsell additional services to enhance customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a fast-paced dealership environment while helping customers keep their vehicles in peak condition. Duties Greet customers warmly and assess their vehicle service needs with enthusiasm and professionalism Prepare detailed repair estimates using automotive estimating software and explain repair options clearly to clients Write service orders that accurately reflect customer concerns and technician recommendations Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, suspension repairs, brake repairs, shocks & struts, and other maintenance or collision repairs Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the repair process, providing updates and answering questions Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently while maintaining excellent client communication Experience Proven dealership experience or background in automotive service writing is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs Familiarity with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools is essential Experience in auto service management or working closely with service technicians enhances your effectiveness in this role Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to upsell services confidently Knowledge of automotive repair procedures including oil changes, tire services, alignments, suspension work, brake repairs, shocks & struts, and collision repair processes Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to facilitate vehicle test drives or inspections Embark on a rewarding career where your automotive expertise meets your passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences!
