Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them
• Suspend and transmit work orders to the appropriate departments
• Schedule appointments for services such as oil changes, tire services, auto body repairs, shocks and struts replacements, wheel alignments, diesel engine repairs, air brake repairs, and brake repairs
• Provide estimates for services and obtain customer approval
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services
• Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a service writer or in a similar role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of automotive services and repairs, including oil changes, tire services, auto body repairs, shocks and struts replacements, wheel alignments, diesel engine repairs, air brake repairs, and brake repairs
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting customer concerns and service requests
• Proficiency in computer systems and software used for scheduling and work order management
