Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them
- Suspend and transmit work orders to the appropriate departments
- Schedule appointments for services such as oil changes, tire services, auto body repairs, shocks and struts replacements, wheel alignments, diesel engine repairs, air brake repairs, and brake repairs
- Provide estimates for services and obtain customer approval
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a service writer or in a similar role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of automotive services and repairs, including oil changes, tire services, auto body repairs, shocks and struts replacements, wheel alignments, diesel engine repairs, air brake repairs, and brake repairs
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting customer concerns and service requests
- Proficiency in computer systems and software used for scheduling and work order management
