What We Offer $50,000-$100,000+ annual earning potential based on experience, productivity, and certifications Opportunity to join a new store and help shape its culture and success Advancement opportunities as the Mazda service department grows Steady workflow Warranty labor incentives Laptop provided at every technician's toolbox Mazda manufacturer training fully paid Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company benefits Basic life insurance Paid vacation and personal days Uniforms provided Discounted vehicle purchases Toolbox relocation assistance Modern Shop and Equipment Clean, modern, fully equipped, air-conditioned facility Current diagnostic equipment and shop technology Mazda special tools provided and maintained Laptop provided at every technician's toolbox Clean, organized, team-focused work environment Training and Career Growth Fully paid Mazda manufacturer training Hands-on and web-based training State inspection and emissions certification reimbursement Mentor and apprentice opportunities for entry-level technicians Fast-track Mazda training for technicians coming from other manufacturers Opportunities to advance through Mazda certification levels Room to grow as the dealership and service department expand Promote-from-within culture Technician Responsibilities Responsibilities will be based on experience and certification level and may include: Perform maintenance and repairs listed on repair orders Complete oil changes, tire services, inspections, and routine maintenance Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems Use diagnostic equipment and Mazda special service tools Test-drive vehicles and verify completed repairs Inspect vehicles and identify additional maintenance or repair needs Communicate findings clearly with Service Advisors Complete warranty repairs according to Mazda requirements Maintain an organized work area and follow all safety procedures Qualifications Entry-level through Mazda Master Technician experience considered High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Basic computer skills Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment Willingness to learn new technology and repair procedures Automotive education or previous repair experience is helpful but not required for entry-level applicants Preferred Experience and Certifications The following are preferred for experienced applicants but are not required: Mazda manufacturer certifications Mazda Master Technician status ASE certifications Pennsylvania State Inspection and Emissions licenses Dealership or independent repair experience Technicians from other domestic and import manufacturers are encouraged to apply.
