Overview Join our dynamic Truck Care team as a Tire Technician and become a vital part of keeping commercial vehicles operating safety. Responsibilities Perform tire replacements, rotations, repairs, and balancing to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, fluid replacements, and basic inspections. Use hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment to identify issues and execute repairs efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols during all service procedures. Communicate clearly with customers about their vehicle's condition and recommended services to enhance their experience. Support the team with heavy lifting and other physical tasks necessary for tire installation and vehicle maintenance. Experience Prior dealership or automotive repair shop experience is highly preferred but not required. Hands-on mechanic experience with standard passenger cars and light trucks. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, fluid replacement procedures, and mechanical repair techniques. Familiarity with automotive tools including hand tools, power tools, and alignment equipment. Understanding of vehicle maintenance routines such as oil changes, tire service, and minor mechanical repairs. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various environmental conditions is essential.
