Job Description

Who we are: Easy Recycling and Salvage is a commercial metal recycling specializing in scrap removal for industrial customers. Our services include Roll-Off Containers, Outage Assistance, Mobile On-site Processing, Demolition, Asset Recovery, Derailment Response, and Large-Scale Cleanups.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, full-time Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience servicing and repairing heavy equipment and related attachments, DOT trucks and trailers, and crew trucks. This role requires a strong understanding of diesel engine repair, hydraulic and electrical systems, and DPF systems. Proficiency in welding and fabrication is also essential. A CDL is helpful but not required. Travel and overnight stays are required for the position.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and trucks
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, A/C, and DPF systems
  • Weld and fabricate parts to fix equipment when necessary
  • Use diagnostic software for various systems
  • Travel to job sites for on-site repairs and maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance
  • Adhere to Easy Recycling and customer safety protocols at all times
Qualification:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment and truck repairs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairs of diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, A/C, and DPF systems
  • Experience in welding and fabrication
  • Must have own basic tools
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
