Job Description
Truck & Trailer Technician Superstar Trailers - Jacksonville, TX Full-Time Superstar Trailers is hiring an experienced Truck & Trailer Technician for our Jacksonville, Texas location. We're looking for a jack-of-all-trades type of technician who can diagnose problems, work with their hands, and get jobs completed correctly without needing someone to walk them through every step. What You'll Be Working On Trailer brake and bearing repairs Axles, hubs, suspension and running gear Trailer wiring, lights and electrical diagnostics Jacks, couplers and safety equipment Welding and fabrication Truck bed installation Trailer repair and body work Mini-split A/C installation Basic plumbing and electrical work Food trailer equipment installation General truck and trailer repairs Inspections and preventative maintenance Reconditioning repossessed trailers What We're Looking For You don't have to know everything on day one, but you must be mechanically inclined and experienced working with tools. Experience in any combination of the following is a strong plus: Trailer repair Automotive or diesel repair Welding/fabrication Truck accessories or truck beds RV repair Electrical Plumbing HVAC Carpentry/construction We're looking for someone who shows up, works hard, can troubleshoot problems, and takes pride in the finished product. Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Own basic hand tools Able to safely lift and handle parts/equipment Comfortable working in a shop environment Able to work independently and as part of a team Dependable attendance Willing to learn different types of repair and installation work Why Superstar Trailers? This isn't a position where you'll do the exact same repair all day. Our Jacksonville shop handles everything from routine trailer repairs to truck beds, fabrication, electrical work, repossession repairs and custom projects.
