Current or Recent experience using Mitchell 1 is required . In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers and our skilled technicians, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every client. Your energetic approach and keen mechanical understanding will help drive customer satisfaction, promote additional services through upselling, and support efficient shop operations. Duties Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs using estimating software. Explain repair recommendations clearly, including necessary services such as oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, tire service, shocks & struts, transmissions, air brake systems, and collision repairs. Upsell additional maintenance or repair services by highlighting benefits and value to enhance vehicle performance and safety. Prepare detailed estimates for repairs using computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools while ensuring transparency with clients. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs based on urgency and customer needs, maintaining efficient workflow. Communicate effectively with clients throughout the repair process, providing updates on vehicle status and explaining technical issues in understandable terms. Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely while maintaining excellent client communication. Requirements Current or Recent experience using Mitchell 1. Minimum 3 years experience as an automotive service advisor or writer within a dealership or independent shop environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust. Experience with auto estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools is highly preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to drive company vehicles as needed.
