Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on RV electrical systems, including troubleshooting electrical faults and repairing wiring issues. Maintain and repair RV plumbing systems, including water lines, tanks, pumps, and fixtures to ensure proper functionality. Service HVAC systems within RVs, including troubleshooting heating and cooling components for optimal comfort. Carry out routine vehicle maintenance like oil changes, fluids checks, and inspections to keep vehicles running smoothly. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly, disassembly, repairs, and equipment maintenance.. Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely while handling large components or parts during repairs or installations. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background working with RVs. This is non-negotiable. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques On travel trailers, fifth wheels, and motorhomes. Electrical experience specific to RV electrical system repair and automotive electrical systems troubleshooting. Familiarity with RV plumbing system maintenance and repair as well as HVAC systems within vehicles. Experience working with hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and heavy lifting safely. Ability to perform basic vehicle troubleshooting efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and communication. Additional preferred skills include auto body repair, equipment repair, carpentry skills for interior work, automotive electrical diagnostics, and experience with auto body paint or assembly.
