145,000 Shall assist in performing technological/trade-off assessments of proposed designs/modifications as well as translating user requirements into system requirements, which will be used to design, develop, fabricate, test and evaluate systems, subsystems.

Shall assist in providing support to produce or review products that include the following: technical evaluations/plans; engineering studies, reports, and analyses; and acquisition strategies/plans such as: System Specification; RFPs; Test Plans, Test Procedures, Test Acceptance Procedures (ATPs); and Spectrum Supportability Determinations. Shall support as necessary project team meetings, working groups, and reviews as needed, such as: SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, TCM, TIM, FCA, PCA, PMR, and other meetings/working groups/reviews as applicable. Shall assist in analyzing equipment and software deficiencies; make recommendations for equipment and software deficiency corrections; and assist in developing, integrating, and testing equipment and software deficiency solutions. Experience in design and troubleshooting of Avionics subsystems such systems as Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS), Transponders, Traffic Collision Alert System (TCAS), Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS), Very High Frequency (VHF), Ultra High Frequency (UHF), High Frequency (HF) Radios, Distance Measuring Equipment (DME), Multi-Mode Receivers (MMR) and Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR). ), test planning and conduct, sustainment and operations covering airborne vehicles' avionics subsystems and FAA and Air Force airworthiness/certification process and procedures.
