Description:
Avionics Technician Philadelphia, PA 6 month/ open ended contract to hire $27-$50/hr (per diem split for eligible candidates) Daily Per Diem to those who qualify.
- Open to any airframe
- Install, modify, troubleshoot, and test aircraft avionics and electrical systems on helicopter final assembly lines.
Perform wire bundle installation, cable lay-ins, terminations, crimping, pinning, soldering, and harness work while interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation. Key Responsibilities Install and route wire bundles, harnesses, conductors, and avionics components. Perform terminations, crimping, pinning, soldering, and coax cable assembly. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, drawings, and technical manuals. Troubleshoot and repair avionics and electrical systems. Conduct functional testing and verify system performance. Document work completed and maintain equipment/status records. Use hand tools and specialized avionics test equipment. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of aircraft avionics or electrical assembly experience (military experience accepted). Experience with wiring, harness fabrication, terminations, and soldering. Ability to read aircraft electrical drawings and schematics. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
