Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and electrical equipment to prevent breakdowns. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and mechanical machinery using schematics and technical manuals. Install new appliances, HVAC components, and mechanical systems following safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Conduct repairs on equipment such as air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, pumps, motors, and other mechanical devices. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure accurate documentation for operational efficiency. Assist with construction projects or upgrades by providing technical support and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Lead or support team efforts in maintaining optimal MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) practices to minimize downtime and improve system reliability. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and equipment repair. Proven service technician experience with the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings effectively. Skilled in appliance installation, mechanical systems repair, air conditioning maintenance, and general maintenance tasks. Knowledge of construction processes related to facility upgrades or new installations. Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues quickly and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Leadership qualities with the capability to guide or collaborate with team members on maintenance projects.
