Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and maintenance of our manufacturing facility and building infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of systems. Duties Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, and building interior components. Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using schematics, wiring diagrams, and testing tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and other mechanical repairs to maintain facility integrity. Maintain facilities equipment including extruders , plumbing systems, and other building infrastructure. Use hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance tasks efficiently and safely. Supervise or assist with maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality expectations. Document maintenance activities accurately and report issues promptly for further action. Assist with installation of new equipment or upgrades as needed. Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields such as manufacturing or building operations. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience including electrical work and troubleshooting using schematics. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), extruders, plumbing maintenance, carpentry, painting, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations). Ability to operate hand tools, electrical equipment repair tools, and diagnostic instruments such as ohmmeters. Supervising or leadership experience is a plus for overseeing maintenance projects or teams. Excellent communication skills in English for effective collaboration with team members and vendors. Ability to read technical schematics and wiring diagrams accurately. Experience with building interior maintenance, facilities upkeep, plumbing system repair, and general electrical work. Knowledge of safety standards related to industrial maintenance environments. This role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency within our facility while promoting a safe working environment through proactive maintenance practices.
