JOB DESCRIPTION
JW Aluminum is a leading producer of specialty, flat rolled aluminum products used in a wide variety of consumer and commercial applications. Currently, we have an immediate and exciting need for a Maintenance Technician at our facility located in Russellville, AR. We are looking for a team oriented professional with an exemplary track record of success in safety and regulatory compliance to join our team.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION
The maintenance technician must be capable of performing both preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure continuous improvement of safety, quality, and productivity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on production equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics/blueprints, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Assist in the installation, start-up, and commissioning of new equipment, as required; Assuring that all operations and utilities equipment complies with minimum safety & operational requirements. Maintain accurate and complete records of equipment maintenance activities. Assists in writing and reviewing of operational and safety JSAs on plant Equipment; improves procedures and develops new JSAs based on observations and experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED, supplemented by two (2) to three (3) years of work experience in a manufacturing environment with automation, calibrated instrumentation, electrical and mechanical repairs. Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and specifications. Knowledge of PLC logic, industrial automation, and control systems, in-line measurement systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics, etc. is a plus. Able to systematically troubleshoot problems for highly technical equipment and instrumentation. Preferably able to safely operate a forklift and an aerial lift on occasion. Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays as needed.

Full-time Pay:
$35.10 - $37.67 per hour
