• Sierra Vista, Arizona Garden Place Suites is looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our hotel safe, comfortable, functional, and well-maintained for our guests and staff.

Job Responsibilities The Maintenance Technician may be responsible for: Performing routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel. Inspecting guest rooms, common areas, and exterior areas for maintenance issues. Responding to guest-room maintenance requests. Troubleshooting and repairing basic plumbing issues such as leaking faucets, toilets, drains, and fixtures. Performing basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting when appropriate. Repairing or replacing light fixtures, switches, outlets, and other basic components. Addressing issues with doors, locks, hinges, furniture, cabinets, and other room fixtures. Performing minor drywall, painting, caulking, and general repairs. Assisting with HVAC troubleshooting and routine maintenance. Checking and maintaining hotel equipment and appliances. Maintaining pools and/or pool equipment as required. Performing preventative maintenance to help reduce costly repairs. Inspecting rooms after maintenance work is completed to ensure they are guest-ready. Maintaining tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in an organized condition. Keeping accurate records of completed maintenance and repairs. Reporting larger or specialized repairs to management. Working with outside contractors and
