Overnight hours, quarterly projects (roughly once every 3 months, additional shifts as needed) About Us Alliance Maintenance Solutions, Inc. (AMS) is a commercial cleaning company providing overnight janitorial services to retail locations throughout California. Position Summary AMS is seeking an experienced Floor Care Technician to support quarterly strip and wax projects at one of our retail store locations. This role will work alongside our lead strip and wax technician and may serve as a secondary/backup technician for future projects across multiple sites. Responsibilities Strip old wax/finish from commercial flooring using proper chemicals and equipment Apply floor finish (wax) in multiple coats to achieve a professional, high-gloss result Operate floor machines, auto-scrubbers, wet vacs, and related equipment safely Follow all safety protocols, including proper chemical handling and wet-floor signage Work efficiently during overnight hours to complete the project with minimal disruption to store operations Maintain equipment and report any maintenance needs Requirements Prior experience with commercial strip and wax / floor care projects (required) Familiarity with floor machines, buffers, and related equipment Ability to work overnight/late-night shifts Reliable transportation Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Quarterly, with potential for additional project-based work This is a project-based/on-call position, not guaranteed weekly hours
