Job Description

Overview Aqua Oasis Pool Construction is seeking a dependable and knowledgeable Pool Technician to handle the startup and care of newly constructed swimming pools. This position is responsible for properly balancing water chemistry during the critical new-plaster startup period, starting and programming pool equipment, inspecting systems for proper operation, and educating homeowners on how to use and maintain their new pool equipment. The ideal candidate has experience with pool water chemistry, pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, automation, and other residential pool equipment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a professional attitude are essential because this technician will work directly with homeowners and represent our company during the final stage of each pool project. Duties Perform routine pool maintenance including cleaning, skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces to ensure cleanliness and safety. Monitor and adjust pool chemistry by balancing water pH, chlorine levels, alkalinity, and other chemical agents to maintain proper water quality standards. Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, valves, and plumbing systems to identify issues early and prevent breakdowns. Conduct repairs and maintenance on pool equipment using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal operation and longevity. Handle water treatment chemicals safely following all safety protocols to maintain proper chemical balance and water clarity. Qualifications Proven experience with pool maintenance, including cleaning, chemistry balancing, and equipment troubleshooting. Knowledge of pool plumbing systems and mechanical components essential for diagnosing issues effectively. Familiarity with water treatment chemical handling with a focus on safety procedures. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or facility staff. Experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions is preferred. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment confidently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for operating company vehicles responsibly.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
