Summary:

Supervises floor-care operation while performing cleaning, stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing. Ensure quality standards are met, operates equipment safely, and helps train and guide floor technicians.

Job Duties:

Perform floor cleaning and maintenance tasks in commercial settings Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment, such as buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove dirt, debris, and stains Strip, seal, wax, and polish floors using appropriate cleaning products and techniques Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment Assist with other custodial duties as assigned

Requirements:

Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and appropriate cleaning methods Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment effectively and safely Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions for proper floor maintenance Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects as required for the job Excellent communication skills to interact with team members This organization participates in
