Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Job Description

About the Company Join a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility where maintenance technicians work directly with automated production equipment, robotics, PLC-controlled systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and industrial electrical systems. We are seeking technicians who enjoy diagnosing problems, improving equipment reliability and developing advanced technical skills - not simply responding to breakdowns.

Available shift:

2nd: 2pm-10:30PM with OT 3rd: 10pm-6:30AM with OT

•Plus rotating weekends

Pay Rate:

$28.60 per hour ($0.75 shift premium for 2nd/3rd) plus raises starting at 6 months of service What We Offer New Hires PLC/Robotics/Fanuc exposure and training Fully stocked tool box provided (you do NOT need to purchase tools) Well-stocked spare parts inventory Ability to develop your career Quarterly attendance bonus Safety shoe allowance Paid uniforms Job Details/Duties As a Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for technical troubleshooting, inspection, repairs and maintenance on robotic equipment, hydraulic press equipment, blow molding equipment, as well as facility equipment such as air compressors, cooling towers, air conditioners, and plumbing. You will respond to daily trouble requests to support production and complete planned maintenance. Position functions include, but are not limited to: Troubleshooting equipment Equipment operational checks Trouble reports/Work order completion Repair production and facility equipment Jig adjustments Utility monitoring and adjustments: Cooling tower, Air compressors, HVAC units Scheduled maintenance activities Filter changes and PM duties as assigned Fabrication projects as assigned Kaizen projects Qualifications Must have previous maintenance experience in a high volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive. Must have direct experience of working as a Maintenance Technician. Operation of Overhead Cranes, Forklifts, and various air and power tools are necessary to be considered for this position. Industrial Electrician and ability to read wiring diagrams Pipe Fitting/Hydraulic Blow Mold concepts/plastic injection Physical requirements include ability to walk and stand on feet for extended periods of time, and ability to perform light to moderate lifting as needed
