Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA and facility safety standards. 2. Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repairs on production equipment, including but not limited to pipe welding machines, forming machinery, cutting equipment, and material handling systems. 3. Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on machinery to ensure optimal performance and to minimize unplanned downtime and maintain production quality. 4. Inspect, maintain, and repair facility systems including compressed air, overhead cranes, hoists, fume extractors, and lighting. 5. Monitor and maintain industrial gas delivery systems (argon, CO₂, etc.) used for welding operations. 6. Work with outside contractors and equipment manufacturers to diagnose issues and order replacement parts as necessary. 7. Maintain documentation of repairs, inspections, PM tasks, and safety checks. 8. Collaborate with production supervisors and operators to improve equipment performance and reliability. 9. Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of machinery and production lines. 10. Recommend improvements to maintenance processes, spare parts inventory, and equipment design. 11. To be able to make emergency calls on all shifts and the required overtime to maintain production efficiency. You must be able to communicate with outside contractors as necessary. 12. Maintain the work area in a neat and clean condition and ensure that materials and tools are cleaned and returned to proper storage and all waste and debris are removed upon completion of assigned work. 13. To have basic understanding and capability to use a computer and Microsoft Office (Word, excel). Qualifications (education, experience, skills, personal attributes):
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environment.
- Experience maintaining or troubleshooting mechanical systems (Electrical systems up to 480V, hydraulics, & pneumatics) and welding/fabrication equipment.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, weld repair equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
