Job Description
Maintenance Technician - Mountain Top Inn & Resort Warm Springs, Georgia | Full or Part Time | $16-$20/hour DOE Mountain Top Inn & Resort is looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to help maintain our resort, cabins, hotel rooms, grounds, and facilities. Only self starters who don't need to be micromanaged need apply. No drugs or alcohol. This is a great position for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in keeping a property looking good and operating properly. No two days are exactly the same. Responsibilities General building and property maintenance Basic plumbing repairs, including toilets, faucets, drains, fixtures, and minor leaks Light electrical work such as switches, outlets, lighting, and basic troubleshooting Basic HVAC troubleshooting, filter changes, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs Carpentry, drywall, painting, doors, trim, decks, and other repairs Landscaping, mowing, trimming, blowing, and general grounds maintenance Preventative maintenance of guest rooms, cabins, buildings, and equipment Troubleshoot and respond to maintenance issues reported by guests and staff Assist with small renovation and improvement projects Maintain tools, equipment, maintenance areas, and supplies Identify larger repairs that should be handled by outside contractors Help keep the entire resort safe, clean, attractive, and well maintained What We're Looking For General maintenance or construction experience preferred Working knowledge of several trades — you don't need to be an expert in all of them Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors Able to troubleshoot problems and figure out practical solutions Dependable and able to work independently Good attitude and willingness to tackle a variety of projects Valid driver's license Able to safely lift and carry materials and use ladders, power tools, and landscaping equipment Experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, construction, landscaping, hotel maintenance, apartment maintenance, or property maintenance is a plus. We are particularly interested in finding a well-rounded, hands-on person who can fix things and takes ownership of the property.
