Job Description

About the Role As a Plant Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a critical problem-solver responsible for the reliability and performance of our high-speed production machinery. You will play a vital role in minimizing downtime by proactively maintaining complex automated systems and executing precise mechanical and electrical repairs to ensure continuous operational excellence. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan and improve overall line efficiency. Diagnose and resolve technical issues within automated production lines, including PLC-controlled systems and high-voltage components. Interpret complex electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams to perform accurate troubleshooting and system repairs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold rigorous safety standards and participate in specialized emergency response protocols. Perform routine inspections and performance testing on hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems to ensure optimal functionality. Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to document repairs, manage parts inventory, and track maintenance history. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance environment. Proficiency in troubleshooting 480V electrical systems, motor controls, and 3-phase wiring. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and repair manuals. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication. Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred Skills Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent vocational certification. Direct experience with automated food processing equipment such as Multivac or similar packaging systems. Familiarity with PLC programming, vision systems, and servo motor diagnostics. Prior experience working with CMMS software and digital documentation tools.
