Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician for the First Shift to join our manufacturing operations. This role is essential in ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of our production equipment and facility infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive technical expertise in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical troubleshooting. The Maintenance Technician will perform routine maintenance, diagnose complex issues, and execute repairs to uphold high levels of equipment reliability and safety. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems according to established schedules. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments. Repair and maintain electrical systems, including low voltage controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical blueprint reading. Conduct welding procedures such as stick welding and assist with equipment fabrication or repair tasks. Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime through effective troubleshooting techniques. Operate industrial machinery including scissor lifts safely for access during maintenance activities. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and manage inventory. Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting complex issues and implementing process improvements. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to electrical systems, hydraulics, and other mechanical components. Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing failure modes and recommending corrective actions. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing facility maintenance or industrial mechanic roles with a focus on electrical diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, schematics, blueprints, and control systems including PLCs. Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding (stick welding preferred), and precision measurement tools. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management. Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and low voltage testers. Knowledge of industrial safety standards and practices related to electrical maintenance and equipment repair. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues efficiently. Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. Prior experience working with industrial equipment such as scissor lifts or similar machinery is preferred. Pay:
$25.64 - $30.88 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 - 55.0 per week
