Duties Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure continuous operation. Conduct appliance repair and installation tasks with precision, including servicing HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems and kitchen equipment. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions. Maintain and repair mechanical systems using proper tools and techniques while adhering to safety protocols. Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site maintenance tasks or equipment delivery as needed. Assist with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) activities to optimize equipment lifespan and performance. Document all maintenance activities thoroughly in logs or digital systems for tracking and compliance purposes. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC system repair, refrigeration, and appliance maintenance. Proven service technician experience with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently. Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC & appliance technology for accurate diagnostics. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when needed. Ability to operate equipment repair tools safely while following established procedures. Experience working with maintenance management systems (CMMS) or similar platforms is a plus. Leadership qualities that enable guidance of junior team members or apprentices during maintenance tasks.
