Sevita is seeking a Maintenance Associate to support safe, comfortable environments in our community-based care settings. In this role, you'll perform routine repairs, basic plumbing and electrical fixes, painting, and preventive maintenance for residential and program facilities. You'll complete work orders, inspect equipment, coordinate with vendors as needed, and ensure compliance with safety and health standards. Working closely with care teams, you'll respond to maintenance requests promptly so individuals we serve can live in clean, well-maintained, and dignified surroundings while you grow your skills with ongoing training. Responsibilities Perform routine facility and residential maintenance and repairs Complete basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems Respond to maintenance work orders in a timely manner Maintain clean, safe, and compliant interior and exterior spaces Assist with painting, patching, and minor renovations Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs Inspect facilities to identify safety or maintenance issues Follow safety, health, and regulatory standards and procedures Document maintenance activities and communicate with care teams Required Skills General building maintenance Basic plumbing Basic electrical repair Carpentry and drywall repair Painting and finishing HVAC basics and filter changes Preventive maintenance scheduling Safety and OSHA awareness Work order and maintenance documentation Vendor coordination
