CPC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our Fountain Run, Kentucky, feed manufacturing plant to help keep our operation safe, reliable, and running efficiently. This is a hands-on industrial maintenance position responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment improvements throughout the plant. This position reports to CPC's feed mill in Fountain Run, Kentucky. The schedule is
DAY SHIFT
with full-time hours and benefits. What You'll Do Perform preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance on production and material handling equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Maintain and repair motors, bearings, gearboxes, drives, pumps, conveyors, and related production equipment. Perform basic millwright, welding, fabrication, and equipment installation work. Diagnose equipment problems, identify root causes, and complete repairs to minimize production downtime. Inspect equipment and identify developing maintenance or safety concerns before they result in failures. Assist with maintaining and improving preventive maintenance procedures and schedules. Follow established safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, fall protection, and required PPE. What We're Looking For Industrial maintenance, millwright, mechanical, welding, or similar hands-on maintenance experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability. Working knowledge of industrial equipment and systems such as motors, pumps, conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic AC/DC controls. General knowledge and safe use of shop equipment, hand tools, and power tools. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license. Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Ability and willingness to climb ladders and safely work at heights of up to approximately 190 feet using required fall-protection equipment. Ability to work additional or adjusted hours when operational needs require. What Makes Someone Successful Here We're looking for someone who doesn't just fix equipment when it breaks.
