Maintenance Technician (Self Storage Facility)

Job Description:

A great opportunity for supplemental income. 15 hours per month Looking for an individual who is trustworthy and dependable, and will strictly enforce the guidelines of our storage facilities' lease agreement. Walk/Drive through facilities at least three times per week Auction Preparation Cut locks and take pictures Check the Drop Box for returned Locks Place locks in the manager unit.

Clean / Sweep

units after moving out (as needed) Sweep units to remove all dust and dirt Grease springs & door track with Silicon Spray Clean walls as needed (checks for wasp nests, spider webs, etc.) Check hasps for proper operation; repair as needed Prepare Welcome Kits for new customers Maintain Grounds Facility walk-throughs and security checks Trash removal Weed control General facility appearance Minor Repairs Assist in keeping a neat, clean business environment Change the weather seal on the bottom of the door if needed Meet with vendors for potential projects Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner Provide other facility-related help as needed Facility walk-throughs and security checks Check the facilities for damage Drive the facilities at least twice monthly at night to check for lighting issues. Lock Audit once per month Monthly Unit Audit (available, unavailable, overlock, auction)
