Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain injection molding machines and related production equipment. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and respond to unplanned equipment breakdowns. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues. Troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, controls, and equipment operating up to 480V. Support auxiliary molding equipment, including material systems, thermolators, dryers, conveyors, and automation. Perform basic PLC/controls troubleshooting as needed; programming from scratch is not required. Assist with general facility maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building repairs. Follow LOTO and established plant safety procedures while minimizing production downtime. Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance or related equipment experience preferred. Experience in injection molding, blow molding, plastics, extrusion, or a similar manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with experience in hydraulics and/or pneumatics . Basic industrial electrical troubleshooting knowledge. PLC, automation, robotics, or Allen-Bradley troubleshooting experience is a plus. Ability to diagnose equipment problems and work independently on 2nd shift. High school diploma/GED required; technical school, maintenance certifications, or an associate degree are a plus.
Pay:
$30.00 - $39.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 45.0 per week
