GranitePro is hiring an experienced Countertop Template Technician (templater / field measure technician) to capture precise laser templates for granite, quartz, and marble countertops across Maryland and Southern PA. We're a stone fabrication company with showrooms in Eldersburg and Columbia. We fabricate at our own facility and install with our own crews — no middlemen, no chaos. You'll run your own daily route, work independently in the field, and be the technical eyes of every job before it hits the shop.

What You'll Do:
Capture digital templates using laser measuring equipment (2D3D Laser Products system) Complete work orders with all measurements, edge profiles, cutouts, radiuses, and customer specs Resolve missing job details (faucet, cooktop, sink specs) with the customer or jobsite supervisor on site Walk customers through the template and installation process Produce photo documentation and a reference file for each measure Prepare and submit DXF files for fabrication at the end of each day Communicate job details to programming, operations, and production on a timely basis Turn in completed paperwork with job folders the following morning
What You Bring:
3+ years of digital templating experience in stone countertops 2D3D Laser Products experience strongly preferred Proven ability to template independently and manage your own daily route Knowledge of kitchen and bath cabinet design/layout Ability to read blueprints and a tape measure, and work in fractions Sharp attention to detail — your measurements drive the entire fabrication process Strong customer service skills; you're in customers' homes daily Valid driver's license required Background check required Able to climb stairs and ladders, lift, squat, and stand for extended periods
