Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, facility systems, buildings, and grounds. This position supports reliable plant operations by performing preventive maintenance, responding to equipment issues, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems, and completing repairs with minimal disruption to production. Key Accountabilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment, including CNC machines, assembly equipment, test systems, and other production machinery. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and equipment-related issues. Respond promptly to production maintenance requests and communicate repair status to appropriate team members. Complete preventive maintenance activities according to schedule and accurately document completed work. Perform general building, facility, and grounds maintenance as needed. Read and interpret equipment manuals, electrical diagrams, mechanical prints, and technical instructions. Track maintenance requests, repairs, and outstanding issues through completion. Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and production interruptions. Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, preventive maintenance practices, and departmental processes. Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area while following established safety procedures. Participate in training and development activities to strengthen technical knowledge and job-related skills. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor. Education and Experience Strong mechanical, technical, and equipment troubleshooting skills. Experience with electrical wiring and electrical troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret mechanical prints, electrical diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical instructions. Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed to minimize disruption to production. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as required. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment. Ability to work around production equipment and wear required personal protective equipment. Pay Range $ 29.50 - $35.50 per hour, based on qualifications and experience. This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime. An applicable shift premium of $2.00 per hour is provided for second-shift work.
