Our PT Weekday Maintenance position helps care for our church, school, parish office, and surrounding grounds. No two days will look exactly the same—you may make a repair, troubleshoot a building issue, work with a contractor, prepare spaces for an event, or help maintain the grounds. This is a part-time weekday position averaging approximately 20 hours per week . Approximately six hours each week are dedicated to school needs, with all work direction and supervision provided by the parish.
Regular Schedule:
Monday:
6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (8 hours, with a 30-minute lunch)
Tuesday:
7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (6.5 hours, with a 30-minute lunch)
Thursday:
7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (6.5 hours, with a 30-minute lunch) Some evening or weekend hours may be needed with advance notice. What You'd Do You'll help keep our campus safe, functional, and well maintained by: Completing basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and equipment repairs. Monitoring and helping maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevator, boiler, fire alarm, and sprinkler systems. Performing routine preventive maintenance and keeping equipment in good working condition. Identifying facility needs and coordinating with contractors, vendors, and volunteers when specialized work is required. Assisting with cleaning and custodial duties as needed. Maintaining campus grounds, including snow removal and salting, lawn care, trimming, weed whipping, and other seasonal work. Assisting with setup, cleanup, and facility needs for parish and school events. Working with the Campus Manager on facility maintenance and long-term planning. Following OSHA guidelines and appropriate safety practices when using tools, equipment, and chemicals. Communicating with parish leadership about maintenance needs, projects, and priorities. Attending required Archdiocesan training and assisting with other campus maintenance needs as they arise.
