Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities at our apartment complex. This is a part time and possibly a full-time position with competitive pay.

Duties:

Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify any issues or malfunctions
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Utilize logic controllers and schematics to diagnose and resolve equipment problems
Supervise and coordinate external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and tenants
Assist with general facilities maintenance tasks as needed
Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders

Qualifications:

Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
Leadership skills to supervise external contractors and coordinate maintenance activities
Experience working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
