Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities at our apartment complex. This is a part time and possibly a full-time position with competitive pay.Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify any issues or malfunctions
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Utilize logic controllers and schematics to diagnose and resolve equipment problems
- Supervise and coordinate external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and tenants
- Assist with general facilities maintenance tasks as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- Leadership skills to supervise external contractors and coordinate maintenance activities
- Experience working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
