Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across a variety of mechanical and electrical systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a slow-paced setting while contributing to the overall success of our operations. Responsibilities Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment. Conduct maintenance of electrical systems. Surveying buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety regulations. Performing preventative maintenance. Handling basic repairs, maintenance, and routine maintenance. Assist in major rebuilds, new designs and repair projects. Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them. Repairing machines, equipment, or structures, as necessary. Other duties as needed. Assist with installation, upgrades, or modifications of equipment and systems in accordance with safety standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for compliance and future reference. Collaborate with team members or leadership on maintenance projects and provide guidance when needed to ensure safety and efficiency. Qualifications Proven maintenance experience. Skilled in the use of hand and power tools. Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts. Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. Working knowledge of tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches. Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices. Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems. Ability to work with multi-meters. Experience with welding. Attention to detail. Physical ability. Professional presentation and attitude. Ability to maintain focus while working individually. Strong time management skills. Education High school diploma or
GED. PLC
programming a plus. Related degree from a technical college is preferred. Related degree in HVAC and experience is preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to move around and do physical work for 8+ hours a day. Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds. Must be able to go up and down a flight of stairs multiple times a day.
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
