POSITION SUMMARY

Edge Manufacturing is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform building, electrical, and machine maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL

DUTIES and

RESPONSIBILITIES

including but not limited to the following: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment. Perform set-ups on production machinery. Troubleshoot equipment operational problems and identify root cause of breakdown. Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair and maintenance of production machines. Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in compliance with standard procedures, operation manuals and manufacturer specifications. Effectively communicate work performed and equipment status both verbally and in writing. Read electrical schematics, PLC programs and operation manuals for equipment. Perform complete equipment teardowns and rebuilds. Perform component rebuilds. Welding/fabrication Perform building maintenance. Size and wire electrical jobs. Operate various lifts.

REQUIREMENTS

1 year maintenance technician experience in manufacturing, OR 5 years production machine operator experience. Experience diagnosing and identifying root cause of problems on equipment defective parts/components. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and flexibility in a team environment. Ability to work other shifts if required and flexibility to work overtime. Valid Driver's license (Class E is a plus). Experience with manufacturing machinery setup a plus. Ability to read blueprints or electronic schematic diagrams a plus. Knowledge and/or experience with computerized equipment a plus. Basic set of hand tools

Schedule:

8-hour shift - Monday through Friday, 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm Overtime as required
